Specialized Planning & Coordination

Some goals and experiences require more preparation, research, or coordination than can fit into the typical planning and communication included with an outing. Specialized Planning & Coordination provides additional, behind-the-scenes support to help make highly individualized experiences and goals more accessible and achievable.

Specialized Planning & Coordination is available throughout Washington State as an add-on to other Amber Seal Adventures services. Service Costs & Accepted Funding

We accept Private Pay and DDA Waivers* (pending). Since our work is dedicated to individualized life skills and experiences—rather than medical or speech-language therapy—we do not process or bill medical insurance

Other private funding sources (e.g., Ben’s Fund) may also be an option; please reach out if you have questions or ideas!

*Please note that we are still in the contracting process for DDA waiver acceptance, with the goal of accepting Life Skills (formerly Habilitation), Staff & Family Coaching, and Stabilization Waivers. Please reach out and we will add you to the update list as the contracting process progresses. The website will also be updated when waivers are officially accepted.

DDA Waiver Services: Coverage depends on Washington State approval guidelines and authorized hours. Services or outings outside of DDA criteria can be arranged through Private Pay.

Private Pay: Offers clients total flexibility in scheduling, outing selection, and service duration.
